Our delivery people like to be able to bring your order to the correct address.
- Telephone number
We’d appreciate being able to contact you personally, quickly, if and when we have a question about your order.

- IP address
We use your IP address to keep your Print.com account secure.
- Email address
In addition to being able to call you, email is also an important method of communication. We use your email address to contact you about orders, invoicing and customer services contact. If you so choose, we will also keep you informed of news and special offers, via email. Ultimately, your email address is another security check. You can log in to your account with email and you can change your password.
What exactly do we use your details for?
- Customer Services
For any questions you may have, you can call us, email us, chat to us or reach us on social media. In order to ‘converse’ with you as well as possible, we take note of all our ‘conversations’. This means you won’t have to repeat yourself. We also analyse all contact to help us learn how to help our customers better. We sometimes record telephone conversations to use as training material, but you will be informed if and when we do this.
- My account
Your contact details are used when you place an order. This lessens the hassle of having to enter the same information repeatedly. It’s up to you which contact details are saved in your Print.com address book.
- Order history
Any order you make is coupled to your account. This enables you to always check your order history and make a repeat order very simply. Our Customer Services people can also take a look at your order history any time you have a question.
- Commercial mailings
If you have so requested, you will receive news about special offers from us. No longer required? Simply unsubscribe by clicking the link at the bottom of the mailing.
- Improvements
Any reported complaints are collected upon completion to help us learn from our mistakes. We check where things have gone wrong or if you have had trouble finding things. Using this information, we adjust things to help us better meet your expectations.
- Fraud prevention
Sometimes, it can be necessary to verify certain customer details, such as a delivery address, to prevent fraud.
- Commercial customers and the partner programme
We also keep company details and contact person(s) on file. We are as careful with these details as we are with the personal details of private consumers.
File saving and security measures
We store your details for no longer than strictly necessary. This means that your details are on file at least until we have completed your order. Thereafter, we save things for a while in case you wish to place another order. We store telephone call recordings for 30 days.
We handle your personal details with the utmost care and attention. To this end, we use as many security measures as possible. For instance, encryption via SSL. This ensures safe ordering.
Sharing personal details
We do everything in our power to prevent your personal details being shared with any third party, but this is not always entirely possible. For instance, we have to pass on your details to our suppliers in order to fulfil your order. Also, if you do not reside in the EEA (European Economic Area) yet order with us, we may be required to give your details to a supplier who also is not in the EEA. This means of course that your personal details will be used outside the EEA. We have agreements in place with such suppliers which ensures a level of processing in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations and the use of proper security measures.
